New Serverspace Data Center in Uzbekistan: Tashkent Located

UZ

Serverspace has expanded the geographic reach of its cloud platform and launched a new location in the control panel. Users can now deploy VPS instances in the East Telecom YA DC data center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This new region is designed for projects operating in Central Asia and nearby markets, where low latency and infrastructure placement closer to end users are especially important.

The East Telecom YA DC data center meets international reliability standards and was designed in line with Tier III architectural recommendations from Uptime Institute. The facility is built with fault tolerance for key engineering systems in mind, ensuring stable and predictable performance for cloud services.

Infrastructure and Platform

The new location is powered by servers based on 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. It supports deployment of virtualized environments built on VMware and vStack, making it suitable for both standard cloud use cases and enterprise workloads. In VMware environments, data is stored on enterprise-grade ITPOD storage systems that deliver reliable and consistent infrastructure performance.

Security Features:

  • Redundant power supply and cooling systems, including UPS and diesel generators;
  • N+1 cooling architecture to ensure continuous equipment operation;
  • FM-200 gas fire suppression system;
  • 24/7 monitoring and on-site engineering staff.

The new location is already available in the control panel and is suitable for both test environments and production workloads where stability, fault tolerance, and predictable infrastructure behavior matter.

For companies expanding into Eastern markets, the Tashkent location also helps reduce latency for users and services in the region, making it easier to scale business operations eastward without the performance penalties associated with distant infrastructure.
