New: Web Application Firewall (WAF) in Serverspace
Serverspace has introduced a new layer of protection for web applications — the Web Application Firewall (WAF). You can find it in the control panel under the CDN section, where it complements content delivery with built-in traffic filtering.
The Akamai State of Apps and API Security 2025 report shows a 33% increase in attacks on web applications and APIs, exceeding 311 billion incidents. The most frequent methods remain familiar: SQL injections, XSS, CSRF and other OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
This release addresses two critical needs at once: faster performance via CDN and robust protection against common attack vectors with WAF. Setup takes only a few minutes, with no advanced configuration required. From the moment it’s enabled, all traffic passes through predefined security rules that block suspicious requests and ease the load on your servers.
WAF highlights
- Defense against OWASP Top 10 threats (SQL injections, XSS, CSRF and more)
- Malicious traffic filtering before it reaches your infrastructure
- Flexible rule customization to fit project requirements
How it works
- Activate CDN in the Serverspace control panel.
- Enable WAF in the CDN section — no additional software or complex configurations required.
- Traffic will begin passing through filtering rules, blocking malicious requests.
Our pricing is transparent: billing is based on every 10,000 requests, so you only pay for what you actually use.
