GPU in Serverspace: NVIDIA A16

Serverspace has launched a new GPU service. Now, when creating a virtual machine on VMware servers, you can add an NVIDIA A16 graphics accelerator and use the server for workloads that require GPU resources.
NVIDIA A16 — a powerful GPU for VDI
The NVIDIA A16 is a GPU based on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture, with 64 GB of GDDR6 ECC video memory. It enables cloud workspaces that provide access to applications, web browsers, video conferencing, multimedia, and basic graphics tools.
Use cases:
- Setting up remote workstations for employees;
- Running VDI infrastructure in the cloud;
- Centralized management of user environments;
- Working with office, business, and web applications;
- Providing users with access to work environments without requiring powerful local computers;
- Distributing GPU resources across multiple workstations.
How billing works
The GPU fee is charged immediately for one hour of usage. Other virtual machine resources are billed every 10 minutes under the standard Serverspace Pay-As-You-Go model.
When creating a GPU server, you can select the required amount of vRAM. This allows you to use only the amount of video memory your workload needs.
Who can benefit from the GPU service
GPU servers are designed for users who need to run graphical work environments without purchasing and maintaining their own hardware:
- Companies with remote teams — for virtual workstations and VDI infrastructure;
- DevOps engineers and administrators — for deploying GPU servers for work environments and internal services;
- Developers — for testing GPU-accelerated applications;
- Support and back-office teams — for accessing business applications from a cloud workspace;
- Companies — for centralized management of employee workstations.
How to create a GPU server
- Sign in to the Serverspace control panel.
- In the “VMware” section, select the “GPU” service and click “Create Server.”
- During server creation, select the NVIDIA A16 and specify the required amount of vRAM.
- Choose the operating system and server configuration parameters.
- Complete the server deployment and start working.
GPU virtual server rental is now available in the Serverspace control panel. Create a server with the NVIDIA A16 and use it for remote workstations, VDI infrastructure, and graphical work environments.
