Connecting networks at the OS level is now automated

The recent update of virtual machine templates in the vStack cloud service has enabled customization of guest operating systems. One of the notable enhancements is the optimization of the procedure for adding new networks as a customization option.

Thanks to the recent update, there is no further need for manual configuration of interfaces at the OS level while connecting additional networks to Linux and FreeBSD servers via the control panel. This improvement saves users time and significantly enhances their user experience.

Using the vStack cloud service, virtual machines could be grouped into private networks with up to 1000 Mbit/s in the same datacenter. Besides private networks, the VMware cloud service offers additional options such as public or routable networks, as well as the ability to configure VPN, NAT, and Firewall.
