DPI

DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) - a technology for in-depth analysis of network packets enables detailed analysis and management of internet traffic at the level of individual packets of information. Thanks to DPI, it is possible to extract metadata from packets, determine the type of transmitted data, source and destination address, and regulate information transmission in the Internet.

DPI is necessary for the following purposes:

  • Network security monitoring and management: DPI ensures the detection and blocking of malicious data, including viruses, Trojan programs, and other cyber threats to prevent harm to the network.
  • Traffic optimization: using DPI, network administrators can regulate and control data flow to prevent network overload and optimize resource utilization.

DPI works as follows:
