Additional API keys allow you to separate access between different projects, applications, and team members. This is useful when working with multiple services, test environments, or separate integrations that require independent access management.
Using separate API keys also simplifies request tracking and improves security: if needed, a key can be disabled or replaced without affecting other services.
In this guide, we will show how to create a new API key for working with GPT models in the Serverspace control panel.
For creating an API key, make sure that the GPT service is enabled:
After that, go to the API Keys menu. Here you will see the list of created keys. By default, one key named default is created automatically:
To create a new API key, click the Create button:
After that, enter the name of the new key:
After confirmation, the key creation process will start.
Once successfully created, the new key will appear in the API Keys menu:
