To create a vStack cloud server:
- Open the vStack Cloud section on the left side of the control panel.
- Go to the Servers subsection.
- Click the + Create Server button:
Next, select the desired operating system, choose the data center, and configure the server according to your needs:
You can choose either a fixed or flexible server configuration.
If needed, attach additional volumes, expand existing ones, add network interfaces, or increase their bandwidth.
Then, select the authentication method.
We strongly recommend using SSH keys for authentication, as login/password authentication is insecure, unreliable, and insufficient. There are no reliable methods of choosing and managing passwords that can prevent all known types of password attacks.
Additionally, you can choose applications to be installed on the server during deployment and assign Affinity groups.
Specify the server name and the number of instances to be deployed.
If needed, you can automate the deployment using the API:
Once all settings are configured, click the Order button.
